Altar EgoSample
Boldness is behavior born out of belief and our belief increases from spending time with God. In fact, boldness is just one of the many byproducts that come from spending time with God. If you are truly committed to obtaining an altar ego and transforming yourself into who God says you are, you must be connected to Him. In John 15, Jesus tells the parable of the vine and the branches and importance of staying connected to the vine in order to produce much fruit. If we aren’t connected to Christ through regular prayer and the reading of His word, then we are not likely to produce any fruit and be bold for Him. Take time today to seek out those things that might be keeping you from spending time with God and take your next step to remove these distractions. What might be keeping you from spending time with God daily? What steps will you take to remove these distractions?

About this Plan
If you have ever felt insecure, inadequate, or insufficient, then this 35-day reading plan is for you. Instead of living with an outward-driven ego, this plan will help you gain an Altar Ego that is focused more inward. Each day, you will read scriptures and a short devotional that will enable you to begin transforming your ego by laying down your worldly self-image and replacing it with God’s view of you. You are not yet who you are supposed to be, but you can begin the process today of growing into who you are supposed to be in God’s eyes.
