Altar Ego

DAY 26 OF 35

Over the past few days you’ve read about how God desires you to have spiritual boldness in your life, but how do we do that? The key to developing spiritual boldness is to spend time with Jesus. The goal is not be bold, but the goal is to know Jesus and let boldness be the byproduct of knowing Him. If you spend time with Jesus, you will build your faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. As your faith grows, your boldness starts to increase. When you are bold, you start to see great results. Spending time with Jesus is a catalyst that ultimately leads to transformation. The opposite is true as well. When you are not spending time with Jesus your faith struggles and starts to weaken. You then find yourself not as bold as you once were and you no longer see the spiritual results you once saw. When you spend time with Jesus, He makes ordinary people extraordinarily bold. As Jesus builds your faith, your boldness will grow. What steps do you need to take to grow your faith in Christ?

About this Plan

Altar Ego

If you have ever felt insecure, inadequate, or insufficient, then this 35-day reading plan is for you. Instead of living with an outward-driven ego, this plan will help you gain an Altar Ego that is focused more inward. Each day, you will read scriptures and a short devotional that will enable you to begin transforming your ego by laying down your worldly self-image and replacing it with God’s view of you. You are not yet who you are supposed to be, but you can begin the process today of growing into who you are supposed to be in God’s eyes.
