Jesus Tells His Followers to Make Disciples of All Nations
Listen to "Jesus Tells His Followers to Make Disciples of All Nations":
Reflect
Let’s think about what this story tells us about Jesus. He died, rose again, appeared to His followers, continued teaching them, is part of the Trinity, and is constantly with us. What else do you discover?
Now consider the action words in this story: “worship,” “go,” “make disciples,” “teach,” “remember” and “tell.” Can you find some other actions? And remember that Jesus uses phrases like “make disciples of all nations,” “tell everyone,” and “in the whole earth.” No one gets left out! Christ’s soon return urges us to persist in spreading His love and truth before it is too late.
● Take a few moments to pray for the fulfillment of Christ’s Great Commission. Pray for those people groups who do not yet have the gospel.
● Ask God to direct your steps to help fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.
