Electricity, a cord, a plug or even a gadget is unnecessary for connecting to God. And the benefit of a close union with God is much fruit like love, joy and peace! Which kind of fruit do you need the most in your life today? What keeps you from remaining connected?
Plants need to be trimmed in order to bear fruit. It’s a painful but necessary reality. God trims us through such means as challenging circumstances, people who annoy us, or waiting for the fulfillment of a desire.
