DAY 2 OF 7

Day 2: The Revelation of Boldness

Welcome to day 2! Today, we’re discussing boldness!

Boldness, as described in the Bible, is a powerful attribute that often leads to the experience of God’s supernatural power. Throughout the Scriptures, there are numerous passages that illuminate the relationship between boldness and divine empowerment. Let’s explore some key verses that emphasize the revelation of boldness as a key to experiencing the power of God.

Acts 4:29-31 - “Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

This passage recounts the early disciples’ prayer for boldness in the face of threats and persecution. Their request was answered, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit, which empowered them to speak the word of God boldly and perform signs and wonders. It demonstrates that when believers walk in boldness, they open themselves to God’s supernatural power, allowing Him to work through them.

Proverbs 28:1 - “The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”

This proverb contrasts the boldness of the righteous with the fear of the wicked. It suggests that those who walk in righteousness and obedience to God’s commandments can be as bold as lions. Boldness, in this context, is a reflection of one’s trust in God, and it leads to an experience of divine protection and strength.

2 Timothy 1:7 - “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.”

In this verse, Paul reminds Timothy that the Spirit of God, which dwells within believers, is not characterized by timidity but rather by power. Boldness is a manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit, and it is crucial for fulfilling God’s purpose in our lives. Walking in boldness enables believers to experience the supernatural power that comes from God’s Spirit.

Hebrews 4:16 - “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

This passage encourages believers to approach God’s throne with confidence or boldness. It implies that boldness is essential in seeking God’s mercy and grace, especially in times of need. When believers boldly come before God, they experience His power in their lives, finding strength and assistance in their trials.

Ephesians 3:12 - “In him and through faith in him, we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”

Ephesians highlights the idea that through faith in Christ, believers can approach God with freedom and confidence. This confidence, or boldness, is the key to experiencing the power of God in their lives. It is through bold, unwavering faith that believers open themselves up to the supernatural workings of God.

The Bible offers profound insights into the revelation of boldness as the key to experiencing the power of God. Boldness is not mere audacity; it is the courage that arises from faith in God’s promises and a righteous life. Whether it’s in the face of persecution, seeking God’s grace, or fulfilling His purpose, walking in boldness is the path to experiencing God’s supernatural power. It is a divine gift that, when embraced, leads to an enriched spiritual life and an empowered walk with the Almighty.
