Worth SharingSample
There are few things as entertaining as viral videos on social media. We love to scroll through clip after clip, cracking up at ridiculous moments in public, and being left speechless after seeing an incredible dance routine. When we find something awesome, we often share the video with our friends.
Every day, our social media feeds are filled with something new that grabs our attention. We watch the video, click the share button, but then we move on. We may never follow the creator of the video and soon forget about it altogether. The quick success of viral videos seems enticing, but the attention can quickly fade.
When it comes to sharing our faith, we may feel like we need to make a massive, immediate impact--a lot like a viral video. We may think we need to invite one hundred people to the youth group retreat or have a song we wrote played on the local radio station. While those things are good, a viral moment isn't necessary in sharing the Good News.
Our friends will be open to hearing about Jesus when we consistently invest in them. What draws them to Jesus isn't typically a big, flashy moment. Instead, they want to know they are cared for, heard, and valued regularly.

About this Plan
For the next four weeks, we'll follow the story of Samuel to see how God called him to share his faith through his words and actions. We'll discover how God invites us to share the Good News, see why sharing the Good News should start with prayer, explore what to do when sharing the Good News sometimes requires risk, and see how sharing the Good News can happen every day.
