Worth SharingSample
Sharing our thoughts can be intimidating. When we're invited to share, we often feel like we need to get things exactly right. No one wants to embarrass themselves or say something that gets misunderstood. So, there are moments when we wait until all of the details are perfectly curated.
It's easy to feel like we aren't prepared enough or qualified to talk about the things God is doing in our lives, which is why Samuel's story is so important. In today's reading, you'll see this moment when God invited Samuel to become a prophet or messenger. Even though Samuel was familiar with God, this was a huge deal, but God promised to be with him in spite of his nerves and lack of experience. By saying "yes" to God's invitation, Samuel was stepping into this unique chance to share what God was doing in the world and help others step into God's process of transformation.
None of us are as experienced in talking about God as we'd like. There's so much for us to learn and understand, but God isn't looking for people with the right education. God is looking for people who are simply willing to share. You're invited to share the Good News with everyone. As you connect with God and learn more about what it looks like to be a follower of Jesus, you'll find the words to tell about your experiences. All of us have a chance to talk about what's happening in our lives because God invites us to share the Good News.

About this Plan
For the next four weeks, we'll follow the story of Samuel to see how God called him to share his faith through his words and actions. We'll discover how God invites us to share the Good News, see why sharing the Good News should start with prayer, explore what to do when sharing the Good News sometimes requires risk, and see how sharing the Good News can happen every day.
