Who is someone in your life that you look up to? Maybe it's a teacher, a coach, or someone at church. These people influence our lives and have a role in shaping who we are today. Sometimes, we may take for granted the impact these people have had on us. Perhaps it's a teacher who spent extra time helping you with a difficult subject, a coach who believed in you when you didn't believe in yourself, or a family member who always encouraged you to pursue your dreams.
Today's reading speaks to the power of these relationships, to think about how they impacted our lives and imitate that influence to others. Today, take a moment to reflect on how impactful their support has been on your life. How have they helped you grow as a person? What lessons have you learned from them that you still carry with you today?
Now, think about how you can imitate their faith. How can you show your appreciation for their guidance and support? How can you pay it forward and be a leader and mentor to others?
Remembering and appreciating those who have been leaders and mentors in our lives is an important part of our faith journey. Today, reach out to that person. Write them a note, shoot them a message, or send a text letting them know you appreciate them. As we imitate their leadership, we can continue to grow and be a positive influence in the lives of others.

About this Plan
When you hear the word "leader," you might think about an influential celebrity, a famous politician, a coach, or your new class president. Great leaders don't have to have official positions, titles, or people who report to them. With God, being a great leader is something anyone can achieve because leadership is simply about becoming the kind of person who's worth following. But how?
