Going PlacesSample

These days, getting extremely lost isn't a huge concern. You've got your smartphone with a GPS, a map, and the ability to call or text pretty much anyone for help. If you take a wrong turn in the forest, you can figure out which way to walk for help. If you end up in an unfamiliar city, you can find directions to help you get where you need to go. If you're on a road trip to the the coast, an app can walk you through the entire drive, step by step. For the most part, because of technology, we don't need to worry too much about getting lost.
We don't need to worry about getting lost on a map. But what about in life? If your friends believe differently than you do, you might start worrying that they'll influence you in a negative way. You might start questioning what you really believe and lose your way. What if your friends end up being the reason that you drift away from God?
Fortunately, God isn't worried about losing you. In the Bible, Paul told his readers that God is transforming us by renewing our minds. Think of the Holy Spirit like a GPS in your heart that offers directions. Whenever you feel lost, you can trust that God knows exactly where you are. You can be confident that wherever you go in life, God is right there with you, helping you and giving you step-by-step guidance.

About this Plan

Friends are the people we’ve spent countless hours with telling stories, laughing, and creating memories together. Great friendships are more than just having people to hang out with, but how do you find friends like that? How do you build the kinds of friendships that last? And what do you do if you feel like your friendships aren't everything you'd want them to be?
