A Letter to TeensSample
Live a Stress-free Life
Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh, for childhood and youth are vanity. (Ecclesiastes 11:10)
Being young means facing new experiences and challenges, which can be exciting but also scary. You might wonder what the future holds and worry about failing or not making it.
But don't be discouraged! Think of it like walking through a fog - you can only see a little bit ahead, but God knows exactly where you're going. He has a plan for your life and is always with you, no matter what happens.
Remember that just because we aim for a stress-free life doesn't mean we should live recklessly or neglect our future. We should care about our future and make smart decisions. Don’t get caught up in the "YOLO" (You Only Live Once) mentality, but balance living in the moment and planning for the future.
Even if you stumble and fail, God can use those experiences for your good. Just like Joseph, who went from being a spoiled kid to becoming a slave and a prisoner, yet in the end, God helped him prosper, and he ascended to the ruler of all of Egypt, second to Pharaoh. God can turn your difficult situations around and make them good. The Bible says it beautifully, “So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfil his designed purpose (Romans 8:28, TPT). Don’t take failures as defeats. Focus on the fact that God, who is faithful, will complete your journey together, and you never lose a battle with Him.
Let go and let God. We are not in control; God is.
So don't let worry and fear steal your joy and youth. Put your trust in God and believe that good things are coming your way, even if there are bumps in the road. You are in the hands of a loving Shepherd who will never ever let you go.
