Kids Devo:

The women who followed Jesus went to His tomb to put perfume and ointments on His body. They were sad and didn't know how to move the big stone blocking the entrance. But when they got there, they saw that the tomb was open, and there was an angel! The angel said, "Why are you looking for the living among the dead? Jesus is not here; He is risen!" The women were shocked and amazed. Jesus had told His followers that He would die and rise again on the third day, and that's what happened! But that was not what they expected. The women felt surprised and overjoyed when they heard that Jesus was alive again!

Dear God, thank you for raising Jesus Christ from the dead.

Thank you that Jesus is alive forever and ever!

Please help me grow to understand what this means for me and for the whole world.

Please help me to know and love the living Son of God, Jesus Christ.
