Day 6 – Chorus

As we come to the last day of our devotional, I pray that you leave with a greater sense that God is with you through the good and bad times. Even though bad times can come with great difficulties, it’s in those times that God wants to show Himself strong on our behalf. If we let him, He’ll turn the worst of times around for your good.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28 (NLT)

Now the chorus repeats the simple phrase “He is with you.” Even though it’s a straightforward statement, we all need to be reminded of it frequently, especially given the times we currently find ourselves. Knowing that God was with me every step of the way, no matter how bad things got, gave me hope as I went through trials last year.

He is with you, always with you

He is able to heal, restore and redeem

He is with you

Regardless of how dark the world gets, the light will always penetrate the darkness. No matter how alone you may feel, the truth is that God is with you. He can fix all that’s wrong in your life, and most importantly, He wants to.

In conclusion, remember: God is with us always. Wherever we go, whatever we do, He is there. His greatest desire is to have an intimate relationship with each of us. But it takes commitment and consistency to develop a deep, personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. Even so, no matter where you are in your walk with Christ, “He is with you.”

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Psalms 23: 4 (NLT)
