Through the Bible: RevelationSample
Amazing Grace, Fiery Place
Then I saw heaven open, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True; it is with justice that he judges and fights his battles. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and he wore many crowns on his head. He had a name written on him, but no one except himself knows what it is. The robe he wore was covered with blood. His name is “The Word of God.” Revelation 19:11-13 (GNT)
The song, "Amazing Grace," speaks of being saved. Saved from what? From death: both figurative and literal, in both this world and the next. In Revelation 18, near the Final Judgment, God still calls people to come out of Babylon and her immorality. Because of grace, He gives time to allow more to turn back to Him. Yet, we learn about the end in Revelation 19. Jesus returns not with a crown of thorns but with crowns of power. He is filled with truth and will judge with justice. He remains faithful to His promises to deliver the oppressed and to punish evil. This involves a horrible ending for Satan and the world of the dead: the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
While we thank God for things we experience in everyday life, we also thank Him for graciously saving us for eternity. How He will judge on that day remains a mystery to us. But still, we trust in His mercy, grace, faithfulness, and truth.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing grace. Even if we do not fully understand the Final Judgment, we love You and trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan
Just as there is a beginning, there is an end. Revelation reveals how Jesus will come back soon to judge all evil, reward His followers, and restore the paradise He once created–a place without sin, sorrow, and death. Readers are promised with a blessing if they hear and keep what is written in the book. Despite its difficulty, this is undoubtedly a book worth our time to unravel.
