DAY 3 OF 7

CTRL + C, CTRL + V

You can totally duplicate that; just hit copy and paste. Highlighting over words or an image on your document and pressing CTRL + C copies them. After copying what you want, simply press CTRL + V to paste what you copied in any location as many times as you want on your document.

Spiritual Principle

Do you wish you could just copy someone’s look sometimes? It seems as if their style is always on point, never appearing undone or a mess – they never miss. What if I told you there is a person you can copy – someone actually worth looking like, acting like, and talking like? That person is Jesus, and He is perfect. 1 Peter 2:22 (ESV) says, “He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.” Can you just imagine that for a second? “Committed no sin…” That is a huge accomplishment, and one we all wish was on our record.

Not one of us is perfect, but because we are given grace every single day, we can say “No” to ungodly things. By saying “No” to ungodly things, we can say “Yes” to following in Jesus’s steps and obeying His Word. In 1 John 2, we are given instructions on how to copy and paste the way of Jesus. if we claim we are one with Jesus, we must live as He did. The book of 1 John also says if we claim to live in the light, we must love our brothers or sisters (1 Jn. 2:9), and we also live by refusing worldly passions, which results in receiving eternity with Christ (1 Jn. 2:15-17).

If you want to copy someone, copy Jesus. By copying Him, everyone will know who you are imitating. This is not like imitating the one influencer who has some flaws, the parent who makes mistakes, or the sibling you are trying to be like because everything seems to go well for them. You see, imitating Christ brings innocence and humility (Phil. 2:3-8), the aim of perfection (Matt. 5:48), and the opportunity to walk in love (Eph. 5:1-2). Imitating Christ is worth so much more than copying and pasting the behaviors of this world.

So have at it, start copying and pasting Jesus’s actions today.
