Living Wise - Sermon on the MountSample

In December 1926, construction began on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the world’s most famous bridges. The foundations are 12 metres (39 feet) deep and set in sandstone. There are anchoring tunnels that are 36 metres (118 feet) long and dug into rock at each end. The foundations took almost a full three years to build before the construction of the arch even began. The foundations carry the load of the 52,000 ton steel bridge.
A bridge is only as strong as its foundation. We are so blessed that God gave us His word to build our lives upon, a rock that will never crumble. Jesus encourages us not to just hear His words, but put them into practice so we can build on a strong foundation. Living wise is building your house on the Rock!

About this Plan

The Sermon on the Mount is full of wisdom for our lives. Jesus teaches us not to ignore God's commands, to follow the narrow path, and to build our house on the rock.
