Through the Bible: ActsSample
Persevering Faith Till the End
From morning till evening he (Paul) expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets…proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.
Acts 28:23, 31(ESV)
The last two chapters of Acts are the finale of Apostle Paul’s example of faith in Jesus. His determination in preaching the Kingdom of God and his boldness in declaring Christ as Lord and Savior were admirable. He lived out his purpose on earth, and deserved to be called “a good and faithful servant” by God.
Paul’s epistle writings are very inspiring to my faith walk, a booster to keep believing in God’s promises and keep leaning on Jesus for help in valleys low.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for building, growing and maturing our faith in You all these years. Please help us to continue enduring and persevering, putting our trust in You till the very end just like Apostle Paul without failing. Amen.
About this Plan
This book answers the question; ‘What’s next after believing in Jesus?’ Continuing the Gospel of Luke, Acts narrates the birth and development of the early church, and how the Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to spread the Gospel. Although it ends abruptly with Paul’s imprisonment in Rome, it leaves room for readers to extend the chapters, by following the footsteps of the early church with our remaining time on earth.
