God’s love for you is real and deeper than you can imagine. His faithfulness toward you has no limits. Psalm 108:4
Do you have a heart for God?
It is important to God with how much of your heart you love Him. Jesus says that you will have a heart for whatever you treasure. Matthew 6:21
Some people go to church, praise God, do good works, read the Bible, and pray often—all out of habit, tradition, or because they feel it’s expected of them. God cares about the sincerity of your heart toward Him. Isaiah 29:13
You have to decide how much you are going to love God, how much you value your relationship with Him. Philippians 3:7-8
Take God’s feelings into account
God experiences feelings just like we do (DAY 15). When people sin, it saddens Him. Genesis 6:5-6 When people honor and obey Him, it brings Him joy. Zephaniah 3:17 Isn’t it amazing? You can be a delight to His heart!
God honors those who fear Him
To fear God doesn’t mean you are afraid of Him. It means you have A LOT of respect for Him as the Almighty Creator of everything. You become fearful when you think of deliberately going against His will by disrespecting His Word and doing evil. Proverbs 8:13
You will experience His love when you fear Him and stay away from evil. Psalm 103:11-13 He will then write your name in His special book of remembrance. Malachi 3:16
Be willing to sacrifice
Walk away from anything (e.g. friends, habits, places) that makes it difficult for you to follow the Lord. 2 Corinthians 7:1
