We Have So Much to Praise Him for!

Do you have a favourite band, football team, artist, podcast, rugby team, or singer? What is your favourite hobby? When you’re with people, do you like to tell them all about your team or your hobby? If you met your favourite football players or artists, would you want to tell them how great you think they are? Would you tell them how much you love to watch them or listen to them? If they win something, it’s an amazing feeling - even for you!

David has experienced God's goodness and power, and he can’t stop talking about it! When we are overcome with a deep desire to worship God, the feeling that He deserves to be worshipped will then overflow to those around us. We will want to share it with the whole world. David says “let me tell you what the Lord has done for me!” David is so grateful that God has heard his prayers and is close to him. He’s so excited about everything about the Father and wants to tell everyone around him! He is so grateful for God's goodness in his life! As you read this Psalm, what are you grateful for that God has done in your life, or even in the lives of those around you?

GO DEEP: Make a list of things you feel thankful to God for today. Is there one thing you know that He has delivered you from? Thank Him. Is there someone or a group of people whom He wants you to share your story with, about all He has done in your life?
