God of Creation Forgives and Loves Us

There are too many beautiful natural places on Earth to be able to count. Our minds can’t even comprehend some of the beauty we see in nature! Where is the most beautiful place you have ever been to? Does your country have beautiful scenery that you would love to share with others? God is so creative and powerful. He has created incredible wonders all over the Earth. Where is your dream place to visit?

As you read this Psalm, imagine the places David is describing. He spent many years as a boy taking care of his father's flocks. As a man, he spent lots of time in forests, caves, mountains, and valleys. Because of his deep knowledge of creation, he often praises God using examples from nature. In this Psalm, he praises the power and strength of God by using examples of nature. David knows that it is God who has forgiven him. It is God who he gets to live in peace with and in relationship with. He is in awe of the Creator and His creation!

God bountifully cares for His people. That includes you! He provides everything we need through what He has created. The same God is the one who loves and forgives all of the things we have done against Him. His heart is for us, and He cares very deeply for every part of our lives. The God who made magnificent mountains, oceans, and stunning flowers is intimately involved with each of our lives. He wants us to be in relationship with Him. He knows you.

GO DEEP: Take a couple of minutes to look at verse 2. It says, “You who answer prayer, to you all people will come". Is there a prayer that you need God to answer? Come to Him with your prayer. Do you need to request something that is a desire of your heart? Remember who He is. He created the whole world, and He cares deeply for you!
