The World

Our world has gotten to a place of deep depravity and brokenness beyond belief. People lie, cheat, steal, murder, violate, encroach and decimate just to satisfy their desires and needs. While we live in this world and could get discouraged by all that we see and hear of, it should move us to a place of prayer and complete dependence on the God of the universe.

Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing that there is power in every declaration.

John 16:33 AMP

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

1 Corinthians 1:28-29 NLT

God chose things despised by the world,[a] things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. 29 As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.
