Praying the Scripture Through LentSample

Praying the Scripture Through Lent

DAY 29 OF 40

The World

Jesus came to the world to save everyone, with no exceptions. The only problem is that not everyone accepts Him into their lives, and many miss out on the great gift of salvation and eternal life. The urgency is to share the good news of Jesus to a hurting world while not allowing oneself to be tarnished by the very same world.

Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing that there is power in every declaration.

John 3:16 AMP
“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 17:15 ESV
I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
Mark 16:15 NLT
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
