God’s Word is Like A Hammer

Jeremiah 23:29

My message is like a fire,” says the Lord. “It is like a hammer that smashes a rock!

A hammer is a tool with a heavy metal head mounted at right angles at the end of a handle, used for jobs such as breaking things and driving in nails. Many times, a hammer cannot break a rock with only one smash. It must be applied consistently for some time. Every smash weakens the rock inside although we cannot see it. Finally, there will be one last smash that completely breaks it into pieces.

God says His word is like a hammer. Just like a hammer that can smash a rock, God’s word can actually shatter the wrong mindset, bad habits, arrogance, hardened heart, and even the impossible situation.

Keep confessing the word of God in faith. Each time you are confessing God’s word, it is the time you are hitting the hammer to every rock in your life. Keep doing it until the last smash of the hammer that will break it into pieces.

Speak out your favorite memory verse in your prayer daily. Proclaim it unto yourself, your health, your study, your parents, your best friend, etc. Do not stop until you gain victory over that particular situation!

Prayer

Dear God, thank You for the way Your word transforms my life. Thank You that You break my stubborn heart and mold it according to Your ways and plan. Amen.
