Bible Explorer for the Young (Jeremiah - Part 1)

DAY 10 OF 14

Nothing Is Hidden from God

Jeremiah 16:17

My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from Me, nor is their sin concealed from My eyes.

According to the dictionary, to hide means to put out of sight, to keep secret, or to screen from view. Each of us may have a moment when we tried to hide something from others. Also, someone might have tried to hide something from us.

We may be able to hide something from others, but nothing is hidden from God. Yes, God is big! In fact, He’s so big and so great that He knows every single thing about us! We do not know our future, but God does. We do not understand ourselves, sometimes, but God always does.

When we try to hide our sin, God knows it but He still loves us! He is waiting for us to come to Him in confession and He wants to cleanse us from that sin.

Prayer

Dear God, You know my heart and there is nothing I can hide from You. Restore my heart so that I can enjoy the wonderful salvation fully from You. Amen.
