90 Days to Wholeness: A Porn Addiction Recovery Devotional for WomenSample
We’ve come clean with ourselves and God about our true condition. We’ve looked honestly at what is keeping us silent. And now, it’s time to face facts. Besides debilitating fear and shame, another major excuse women have for staying silent is, “I have no one to tell.” If you’re dealing honestly with yourself, is that completely true?
Most of us aren’t trapped in our homes day in and day out. We have friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances at church and more than we interact with on a regular basis. I know it can seem like you have no one to tell, but is that because you don’t believe anyone else struggles with this or that no one would understand it? Or maybe you are afraid of judgment or the loss of a relationship. This voice that says we have no one to tell is also speaking to us out of the lie of fear.
In prayer today, ask God to give you courage so that you can begin to see clearly all of the opportunity that stands in front of you.
