Faith Is The Victorious Power

“You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world.”

- 1 John 5:4 TPT

Your faith is essential in this life. You need to exercise your faith just like you need to exercise your body. One of the reasons you need to use your body is so that you can overcome hurdles of disease and fatigue. Your faith works the same way. If you want to overcome the world, your faith needs to be healthy. 

John says that faith is the victorious power that overcomes the world. Faith should be an active force in your life. It should be used to move the mountains in your life. It should be the way you live every day, not just an emergency parachute when you do not know what else to do.

Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, and Hebrews 10:38 all say, “the just shall LIVE by faith,” (emphasis added). The definition of “live” here means to “enjoy real life. To have true life and worthy of the Name – active, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God.” 

Many people are trying to find the meaning of life and doing things to try and enjoy that life. Living by faith is the best way to ENJOY real life. Some may say that you haven’t really begun to live until you live by faith. Being an overcomer involves having true life. Being an overcomer consists of being active in the kingdom, doing what He called you to do.

Because you are a child of God, you will always be an overcomer. You will always need to use your faith. You will always experience the victorious power in your life when you use your faith. 

Don’t get stuck in any pain that you feel. Don’t get stuck in any situation that is weighing you down. Use your faith to get out of any pit. You are not defined by your circumstances and conditions. You are defined by the Word of God that is actively working in your life. 

That Word says you are a child of God. That Word says that you are an overcomer. So know that your faith is the victorious power that overcomes the world. That’s why you can overcome anything that comes your way.
