Our Hope

2020 has been one crazy year. We have had to do school online. We have missed school days without friends. For some of us, we have had to stay home because of world problems. That’s not fun at all. I don’t know about you, but during this season of Christmas, I could use a lot of hope. 

Micah 7:7 says, “But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.”

During this Christmas season, remember where our hope is. Our hope is in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Remember that when we pray, He listens, and He hears our prayers.  

Our hope is not in the Christmas tree, or the delicious food, or even in our friends that we celebrate the holidays with.. But our hope is in Jesus. He gave us Heaven, came down to earth as a baby, taught us to live differently, and then died on that tree that we talked about before. After He was in the grave for three days, He rose. Hope! That is the real gift of Christmas.
