Just Like YouSample
Think back to when you were a little kid. Who are some people you used to imitate or copy? Did you imitate a family member, a friend, or even someone you saw on TV? Why did you choose to imitate that person? As humans, it is natural to imitate others, but the problem with imitating other people is that humans mess up. While it is ok to copy some good behaviors from others, the best and only person you can imitate, no matter what, is Jesus. Jesus is the only one who you should imitate, and He is the only one who you can imitate everything He did. The best way to imitate Him is to learn more and more about Him. Be sure to take time daily to read your Bible to continue to get to know who He was and what He did.
Challenge: Today, we challenge you to imitate Jesus. We also want to challenge you to read through the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) to learn more and more about what Jesus did when He was here on earth.

About this Plan
Everyone wants to make a difference in this world. However, what God says about influence and what the world says sometimes compete. Over the next ten days, we will look at what God says about influence. How do we use our influence for His purposes? How does what God says about influence differ from what the world teaches?
