Born for ThisSample

Week Two - Day Two - I am Created for Great Things
Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!
READ:
‘Joseph’s Colourful Robe’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 71-77) or in Genesis 37.
God has a great plan for Joseph. Yesterday we read how Jacob had bought Joseph a beautiful coat and this had made his brothers angry and jealous.
One day Joseph had a dream! He dreamt that the grain in the field, the sun, the moon and the stars bowed down to him! Wow! God was showing Joseph a part of the plans that He had for him and that he was created for great things!
How does God speak to you? Maybe it is through your dreams, like He did with Joseph. Joseph was created for great things. You are created for great things too!
ASK:
How does God speak to you?
REMEMBER:
I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.
What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)
SAY:
I Can Thrive
With you in my life.
All you create,
Is wonderful and great.
I will recall all you have done,
The battles that have been won.
I am fearless in my quest,
For I am Born for This.
