Stories Of The Kingdom (Primary Age)Sample
The Great Banquet
WRAP UP
Sounds like a great party doesn’t it? Then why did all the people who were invited decide not to come? They all made up excuses and said they had better things to do with their time. But as we read, “The greatest blessing of all is to be at the banquet in God’s kingdom!” Being at the banquet would have been the BEST way to spend their time. So instead, the master invited everyone so the banquet would be full. They were so excited, they said YES to the invitation!
God’s kingdom is just like this banquet, we’re all invited, not just the popular or really ‘good’ people. God’s kingdom is the best thing we will ever experience. We get to make a choice to accept the best party invitation ever and be a part of God’s kingdom!!
Questions
- What were the excuses guests made to not attend the banquet?

Scripture
About this Plan
Jesus would often tell short stories called parables when He was speaking to people. These parables would be used by Jesus to teach about a particular aspect of God and His Kingdom, inviting and challenging His listeners to think more deeply about their lives. Jesus’ parables have a lot to teach us today as well! Watch the fun videos and enjoy learning more about God! (Bible study ages 9-12)
