Stories Of The Kingdom (Primary Age)Sample
The Good Samaritan
WRAP UP
An expert in the Law of Moses asked Jesus, “What must I do to have eternal life?” As an expert, he should already have known the answer, but he asked Jesus to see what He would say. When Jesus asked him what he thought the answer was, the man replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind... (and) Love your neighbours as much as you love yourself.” Jesus told him he was right, but the man asked, “Who are my neighbours?” He wanted to know who he HAD to love and who he DIDN’T. So, Jesus told him this story to remind him that our neighbour is ANYONE who is in need.

About this Plan
Jesus would often tell short stories called parables when He was speaking to people. These parables would be used by Jesus to teach about a particular aspect of God and His Kingdom, inviting and challenging His listeners to think more deeply about their lives. Jesus’ parables have a lot to teach us today as well! Watch the fun videos and enjoy learning more about God! (Bible study ages 9-12)
