Walking With Him Daily Acts Bible Plan

DAY 11 OF 28

Day 11

Read – Acts 11

Acts 11:25 - 26 "Then he went to Tarsus to search for Saul, and when he found him he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught large numbers. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch."

Christians... why are we called Christians? I am sure the answer is obvious, but have you ever really thought what it means to be called a Christian? The strict definition of Christian is something like "a person who has received Christian baptism or is a believer in Jesus Christ and His teachings." So what does it mean to be a Christian in your life? Is it just a definition life what I showed above? I would say it goes much further. In order to be a Christian, we must be not just someone who has received baptism or believes in Jesus and His teachings, but our whole life should be a reflection of Him. He should be Lord of our life and reign in us. People should know who we follow by how we act and talk. Our life should be transformed if we are a Christian, not just believe the teachings. So, how does your life show that you are a Christian? Lord examine us and show us where we can reflect you more as your followers.
