"To the Ends of the Earth" READY What's the farthest place you can imagine? A city so far you feel like you'll never be able to get there? Now, what if we told you that that's exactly where you're going? That must have been what it was like when Jesus told the disciples that they were going to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, to the ends of the earth. The scope of these places and the distance they would have had to travel must have been too big for the disciples to imagine. None of the disciples could have forseen just how far their obedience would go. Thomas would eventually start a church movement in India, passing through Syria and Iran. Mark would start a Christian movement in Egypt that exists to this day! Paul went to city after city all over the Roman Empire. Philip converted an Ethiopian who would then influence his whole country to a Christian heritage. That's how God works - we obey and He takes that obedience beyond what we can imagine. Don't let what you see or where you're from limit the way you disciple others. Remember to keep discipling with a global mindset. God's plans for you are so much greater than what you can imagine. The person you're discipling now could reach someone from another nation. Or you could go yourself! SET Are you going or are you praying about going on a missions trip? What country are you praying that God send you to? GO Study about another nation, especially its spiritual condition. Pray for that nation.
