Go: Your Action Plan To Change The World

DAY 4 OF 32

"Wait... Then Go" READY In the time Jesus spent with His disciples, He had always instructed them to go and always prepared them to be sent out. This time, though, He says the exact opposite. He tells them not to go, to stay in Jerusalem. Why? It's because He didn't just tell them to stay. He told them to wait for the promise of the Father to come upon them. He told them to wait for the Holy Spirit. It was only through the Holy Spirit that they would have the power to become witnesses. Too many times, we're eager to reach out our campus and we're so ready to jump in and get started. There is always wisdom in praying to God and seeking God. We must ask for guidance from Him because it's not by our might that our campus will be changed. It's not through the trainings we went through nor by sheer will power that the lives of students in our campuses will be saved. Just as it was during the time of the apostles, it's still the power of the Holy Spirit that empowers us. SET Have you taken the time to pray and to ask God for wisdom and for the Holy Spirit? Do you believe that the Holy Spirit is with you and empowering you to make disciples? GO Join a prayer meeting your campus minister or leaders have planned for your campus. There's nothing like asking God together to give you direction on how to win the campus this year.

About this Plan

Go: Your Action Plan To Change The World

Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He commissioned the disciples to GO and make disciples of all nations. This 31-day devotional chronicles how a number of unschooled, ordinary men heeded that command, preaching a message that changed hundreds and then thousand and then generations. This comprehensive study on Acts aims to empower student believers to boldly preach the gospel with the goal to change the world one campus at a time.
