Faithful Men

A successful person is a faithful person, because true success is not based on results but on faithfulness. Results are the gracious works of God. Faithfulness is what we can offer Him. We are not responsible for the results; we are responsible for our faithfulness. To be faithful to God is to do the thing that God wants us to do.

Proverbs 20:6 asks a very sobering question. “A faithful man who can find?” If ever there was a day when our world needed Faithful Men, today is the day! Why should we be faithful. We need to be faithful because Jesus Christ is faithful to us.

We must be faithful to the family, friends, in the faith and with finances. 

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)

It is important to start right, but it is imperative to end right. The Greeks had a race in their Olympic games that was unique. The winner was not the runner who finished first. It was the runner who finished with his torch still lit. We are to run all the way with the flame of the torch still lit for Christ.

Prayer: Hallelujah! I carry the torch that burns everlasting to show the faithfulness I have for You, Jesus. It is a beacon of light that represents my love for You, Lord. Thank You, Lord for showing me that faithfulness is all I need to succeed and through my faithfulness, my success is guaranteed in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
