Walk By Faith

To be faithful is to be reliable, trustworthy, steadfast and unwavering. Fundamentally, it is “full of faith” and usually refers to trust in Jesus Christ. 

Jesus is the only person that we can place our faith in. A person will only place his trust in the thing or person that is proven to be reliable, greater and better than himself. Therefore, in order to be faithful, we must exercise faith in the one that is greater than ourself and that person is none other than Jesus Christ. So, faithfulness is trusting God and still trusting even when we do not understand. 

Without faith in God, faithfulness is impossible. When we truly love someone being faithful is easy. Unfortunately people tend to emphasize more on fruitfulness, talents and success instead of faithfulness, trustworthiness and steadfastness.

The Kingdom of God is all about faithfulness. We are to be faithful in an unfaithful world. God does not require anything from us except faithfulness, “good and faithful servant!”

Prayer: Dear Father, I trust in You with all my heart and seek You everyday. You are my redeemer and I place all my faith in You. There are many things I don’t understand but I know that what You have planned for me is the perfect plan beyond what I know myself. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
