Challenge Accepted: PrayerSample
King Solomon had devoted 20 years of his life and exorbitant amounts of money to build the Temple in Jerusalem. And this was not a political move or some way to enhance his own notoriety – this Temple was built to honor God, to make Him famous, and to provide a place of worship worthy of the God of the Universe. At the completion of this architectural marvel, Solomon dedicates it with a sincere prayer to God. What themes stand out as you read the words of this prayer? What can we learn about the character of God by what Solomon declares in this dedication?
