In Your presence, I will worship You

God truly desires a personal relationship with each one of us, and He is at work around us at all times. He desires to have fellowship and to communicate with each of us, just as God walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In Psalms 22:3, He has promised to inhabit the praises of His people, and I know that He’s always true to His promises. Our worship gives a place of meeting with God, a place for us to encounter His very presence and embrace His divine calling to join Him as He works.

In Psalm 89, the psalmist confesses that the fitting response to the Creator of all who built the cosmos and rules the oceans is to lift up our lives, to surrender our whole lives to Him. When we understand the greatness of who God is we “experience the shout of worship, for they walk in the radiance of your presence. We can do nothing but leap for joy ALL DAY LONG, for we know who You are and what You do, and You’ve exalted us on high” (verse 15-16 TPT).

Every moment can be lived in God’s presence.

We can be busy shopping in a store or standing at a bus stop, or waiting in line at the ATM or being stuck in traffic in our car. Our lives are full of moments like these; the times when we could get tired and annoyed. But we can also use these ‘daily moments’ to catch our breath and see each of these pauses as an opportunity to learn to “walk in the radiance of Your presence” (verse 15 TPT), and simply surrender to His will.
