Superior Strength
We are always taught to feed our bodies with proper nutrition so we will have fuel for our day. Adequate exercise, nutrition, and sleep are all part of building and maintaining physical conditioning and strength. But we are mere mortals, believe it or not. These bodies will wear down and give out over time. Often, when we are tired, we depend on resources that are not beneficial for our health—energy drinks and sugary foods, not to mention exorbitant amounts of caffeine we consume.
When we lean on bad habits, old thinking, and the easy way out, we make small daily decisions that lead to terrible long-term consequences. If you want to be a man or woman with superior strength, first acknowledge your own areas of weakness. Changing nutritional habits takes time, but making small daily lifestyle changes can lead to superior strength in the long term. Depending on the wisdom of God’s Word and understanding that strength comes through Him will empower each person to live at a higher level of physical energy, mental clarity, and more strength to perform your daily duties.
Heavenly Father, open my eyes to the bad habits that are weighing me down from achieving superior strength, and teach me to depend on you. Amen.
