Talk to God

Jesus, be with my adult child through whatever healing process or freedom journey they’re on. Help them know You are not finished with them. Give them good friends who will listen to their story and offer good counsel. Do the deep work of inner healing. Please do something brand new in their life, I pray. Lift their mood. Shed light where the darkness seeks to overcome them. Speak absolute truth and sing with joy over them this week. Help them know they are a blessing and delight to this world, important to You and the people You have placed around them. Heal them anew so they can be an agent of renewal in this broken world. Make a pathway through what used to be a wilderness in their life, I pray. Amen.

Think

Thank God for the healing journey He’s taken you on in the past. Thank Him for what He has specifically done to set you free and do brand new things in your life. Remember His goodness to you.

Take Action

Create a simple timeline either in a journal or in a note-taking app on your phone. Identify specific moments of your life and write what God did and how He worked difficulties into something beautiful.
