Read Proverbs 3.5-7.

1. Face challenges with courage and determination. BUT make sure you avoid danger, trouble or temptation!
2. Plan your week carefully so that you can get your homework done, and don’t get behind with your work.
3. Don’t struggle alone; be prepared to get help, and speak to a teacher, a friend, or someone at home.

What choices will you face? Sometimes you’ll have to choose between right and wrong.

Read 2 Timothy 2.22-25.

1. Always ask for help if you feel under pressure – it’s not a sign of weakness.
2. Get support from a teacher, friend, family member, or youth leader, and – of course – God!
3. If you want a friend, be a friend!
