We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to Godनमुना

Day 199 of 365
In 2 Kings 19, King Hezekiah cries out to God in desperation as Jerusalem faces destruction. His prayer prompts God’s powerful intervention, saving the city from devastation. Galatians 5 reminds us that through the Spirit, we experience freedom, love, and peace as we walk with God. Hezekiah’s story is a profound example of the power that comes from abiding in God’s presence, where we find courage, guidance, and strength in times of need.
God’s presence changes everything. When we turn to Him in prayer, He meets us, filling us with peace and strength. The Spirit invites us to live in constant awareness of God’s presence, transforming ordinary moments into opportunities to experience His love and power. Through prayer, we access God’s resources, allowing His Spirit to shape our hearts and actions.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit to deepen your awareness of God’s presence. Pray for a heart that seeks Him continually, trusting that He is always near. As you live in His presence, may you be empowered to face challenges, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.

We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God is a 365-day Bible reading plan led by Bishop Gary Lewis, the General Overseer of the Church of God. The plan is designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word. Each day begins with a short devotional, followed by carefully curated Scripture readings, and concludes with the S.O.A.P. exercise—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Through this plan, you’ll grow in biblical literacy, discover God’s mercy and purpose, and learn to partner with Him in His Kingdom work.
