In Philippians 2, Paul encourages believers to “do nothing out of selfish ambition,” calling us to value others above ourselves, following Christ’s example of humility. Psalm 67 celebrates unity, inviting all nations to praise God together. The Holy Spirit fosters this spirit of humility in us, cultivating unity and peace within the body of Christ.
Unity is a powerful witness to the world, and it’s only possible through the humility that the Spirit develops in our hearts. By laying aside our own interests to serve others, we reflect the character of Jesus, who humbled Himself even to the point of death on the cross. True humility brings us closer to God and strengthens our relationships with others.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to help you walk in humility, allowing Him to soften your heart toward those around you. Seek ways to serve and lift others up, knowing that this honors God. May your relationships reflect Christ’s love, inspiring unity and drawing others into the beauty of God’s family.
