Another great thing about joy is that, because it comes from God, it will never run out. God doesn’t have a limited supply of joy that He divides between people. Because God is infinite, so is everything about Him- including the joy that He gives us. That’s great news for us because we can never run out of joy from God or use up more than He can give us. It also means that we never have to be afraid of asking God for joy or praying for joy for other people, because God will freely give it to us if we ask Him! When we trust in Jesus and ask Him for peace, He will give it to us and help us to be joyful no matter what. He will give us so much joy that we will overflow with it, and we can then overflow and share that joy with others.

Challenge: Today, we challenge you to share your joy with someone else. Take the joy that God has given you, and let it overflow into someone close to you. Share time with someone, kind words, tell them something you’re thankful for, or just offer a big smile or hug to someone in your family or a close friend.
