One way that we can express our joy is through worship! Worship is just talking to God and thanking Him for who He is and all that He has done for us. We can worship God and express our joy. One way that people have been worshipping God for a long time is through singing to Him. Even in the Bible, people worshiped God through song and dance, praising Him and expressing their joy to Him. Many of the Psalms are songs of worship and praise. Today, we still sing songs of praise and thanksgiving to God and can worship him through singing, dancing, clapping, and expressing our joy towards him! He has given us joy, and we can praise Him because of that!!

Challenge: Write a short song or poem of praise to God. Think of a few things that you can say in worship to Him, and then praise Him!! Clap, sing, dance, and express your joy to Him! Or, if it’s more comfortable, just write a few words and quietly whisper them to God- He hears us no matter how loud or expressive we are!
