Living out Your Relationship with God

One of the most important connections I have in my relationship with God is the Bible. I am continually amazed at how the words and ideas found in the Bible have new and practical application to the challenges I am currently facing. It's been my experience that most times the truth I'm reading provides the adjustment I need to get back on track. Hebrews 4:12 describes how the Bible works in my life. 

For me, my faith starts with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and I use the truth I find in the Bible to strengthen that relationship. Matthew 5:3-6 describes the perspective I want as I reset for the next opportunity or challenge in my life. John 4:1-38 tells a story of an interaction with Jesus and a woman. The scripture is instructive when I put myself in her position and remember that God is still alive. These truths are vital in my relationships, the key to my faith, and are foundational to living out my relationship with God in an authentic way.
