It Is Crazy

For those of us who have grown up and lived in less troubling times, the title of today’s devotion is a statement that has been heard in many places around the world. Once the strong Biblical Truths are being forsaken or altered, we hear and read sin is rampant and evil is powerful on the face of the earth. Isaiah tells us exactly the same thing that occurred in his day and he also tells us the key to reaching the treasured place God has prepared for His people.

Hong Kong construction companies build strong foundations for the high buildings so we feel safe and secure when we go up and down these tall structures. "Fear the Lord" is Isaiah’s key to our life’s sure foundation to face these troubling times.

Prayer: Mighty and awesome are you, Lord. Great is your love and power towards us. Teach us what holy fear is, and we thank you for the rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge to build our faith on. We acknowledge you as the source as our foundation of our faith. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
