The Surprise Exclamation

As you have been reading through these devotions in the book of Revelation, have you noticed things too wonderful to understand that have been shown to the writer John? The divine beauty, unbelievable majesty and glory are revealed. He comes to the place where he is overwhelmed and bows down to worship the angel messenger.

The angel exclaims, "Worship God!" We have been given a glimpse of our promised heavenly home and it is beyond imagination. So what do we do? Worship God! He alone is worthy of our adoration and total commitment. In today's selected verse, the messenger of God tells us exactly what our response should be.

Prayer: We worship you, Lord Jesus and Almighty Father. Great is your name and mighty is your glory! Holy, holy, holy are you! Help us to keep the words of your word. Let us worship you in the beauty of holiness and in your presence! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
