Drowning in Doubt?ნიმუში

Why Are You Troubled?
Are you troubled about your work? Your marriage? Your kids? Your friendships? Your health? Your future?
Are you doubting your ability to handle these situations, or whether God will show up?
In Psalm 16:8, the writer declares, “I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.” Notice the psalmist is experiencing freedom from worry, not because his circumstances changed, but because he made a choice to give God the place of priority in his life. Because he made that decision, he can face the most troubling situations without being shaken from either his faith or his peace.
Spend some time today reflecting on this question Jesus asks in today’s Scripture, and then ask for God's wisdom and help in determining how you can intentionally prioritize God and experience His presence.
As you engage with God’s Word:
● What is God saying to me?
● What does it mean to me?
● How can I apply what God is teaching me?
● How can I be specific in prayer today?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.
