Quick Question: Why Do Bad Things Happen?

DAY 3 OF 10

Have you ever taken the time to make out a plan for your life? Maybe you made a simple plan like what you want to be when you grow up or, perhaps, you are the type of person who likes to plan out every day in your life.

Either way, it can be normal to make plans for our lives.

The problem with making plans for ourselves is that we tend to rush ahead and plan things before asking God if our plans align with his.

Today's verse reminds us that God has a plan for our life and we can trust that he knows best. I know that sometimes we go through difficult times. It is during those times that we can forget God will work things out for our good.

What difficult situation are you currently struggling with? Or, what difficult situation have you experienced in the past that you need to remember that God will work all things out for your good?

Challenge: Today, we challenge you to think of that difficult situation and take some time to talk to God about it. Ask God to help you remember that he will work things out for your good even when it might be hard to see how.
