Quick Question: Why Do Bad Things Happen?

DAY 1 OF 10

The most important question anyone can answer is - who is Jesus to you personally?

Sometimes we can fool ourselves into thinking that if we simply go to church and are a nice person, we should be good and we will be able to go to heaven.  Unfortunately, this is not true.

Each person has to choose to receive the free gift of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We each have to decide if we are going to trust in Jesus or if we are not.  God loves each and every person on this earth. He wants to have a relationship with everyone.  The problem is that God is not going to force us to believe in him.  He lets us decide.

So, I ask you one final time - who is Jesus to you?

Challenge: Today we challenge you to choose to put your trust in Jesus.  If you have made that decision in the past, we challenge you to tell someone you know about Jesus.  If you have questions about Jesus, we challenge you to ask a mentor or small group leader.  If you are interested in trusting in Jesus today, we challenge you to pray this prayer and put your trust in him today.

Prayer: Jesus, I admit I am a sinner.  I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead.  I trust you to forgive my sins and choose your free gift of forgiveness.  Thank you for loving me.  Today, I want to put my trust in you! Amen
